AI-based detection of critical findings and osteoporosis on routine X-rays to optimize the clinical care pathway for better patient outcomes.

Description

Optimize the clinical care pathway, for better patient outcomes.

CriticalScan™: early warning system for critical pathologies and diseases

CriticalScan™ is not available in all regions. Please contact your local sales representative for availability.

Accelerate communication between radiology and clinical teams

After receiving a critical findings alert, the radiographer can directly contact the radiologist or referring physician to prioritize a patient.

Improve delivery of patient care

During overnight hours, the referring doctor gets information from the AI to decide how to proceed until the radiology report is available.

Avoid patient recall

While the patient is still in the X-ray room, the radiologist or physician can ask for extra exposures, e.g. a lateral chest view.

High AI accuracy

CriticalScan™ is powered by Lunit INSIGHT CXR, screening every chest AP/PA X-ray with exceptional accuracy.

DensityScan™: turning every X-ray into an opportunity to diagnose osteoporosis

Contact your local Agfa sales representative for more information about availability.

Powered by IBEX BH

DensityScan runs IBEX BH in your Agfa workstation to measure both the patient’s aBMD and T-score, and archives a bone health report in the hospital’s PACS for review by the radiologist, the referring doctor or the fracture liaison service.

Early warning system

DensityScan can provide an early warning of this silent disease, getting patients onto treatment. It can help achieve significant cost savings by reducing fragility fractures, ensure greater equity of care and improve the quality of life for patients.

Real clinical cases

A service evaluation of DensityScan was carried out at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. A white paper on it is in preparation, featuring three real patient cases identified with osteoporosis before their first fracture. DensityScan uses existing X-rays to calculate T-scores, without additional radiation, enabling early detection and rapid referral to the Fracture Liaison Service for further assessment.
