Yeoh Veterinary Clinic in Malaysia and the Agfa CR 30-X and CR 10-X - Image 1 of 3

Dr. Eng Chang Yeoh, who has practiced veterinary medicine in Malaysia since 1975, equipped his main clinic in Taman Megah for digital imaging with a CR 30-X system and a DRYSTAR 5502 printer. The success of this experience led to two CR 10-X systems being installed at his smaller branches in Bangsar and Putra Heights.

Highlights

  • CR 30-X: cost-effective, high-throughput CR solution.
  • CR 10-X: compact, affordable CR solution for smaller clinics.
  • MUSICA intelligent processing tailored to veterinary needs.
  • The most important benefit for the user: excellent resolution and clear images, including for detecting foreign bodies.
  • Images are ready by the time the animal is taken out of the X-ray room, and retakes are rarely needed.

User experience

Dr. Yeoh considered the move to digital imaging essential to keep pace with modern veterinary medicine and meet the higher expectations of pet owners. In his words, the investment has made a remarkable difference and has paid for itself. He is satisfied with the software and medical-grade monitors of the CR 30-X and CR 10-X systems and advises colleagues to weigh image quality and budget together when choosing a digital system.
