Woodland Hills Pet Clinic in the USA and the Agfa CR 10-X

Woodland Hills Pet Clinic in California combines modern Western treatments with traditional Eastern methods such as herbal medicine and acupuncture. Dr. April Linson, veterinarian and co-owner of the clinic, considers digital imaging essential for a correct diagnosis and the right choice of treatment. After moving to a new location in January 2013, the clinic replaced its old manually processed X-ray system with a CR 10-X digitizer.

Highlights

  • The CR 10-X is a cost-effective CR solution without compromising image quality.
  • MUSICA intelligent processing needs little manipulation and delivers excellent images with few retakes.
  • The fast, convenient workflow has made it possible to see more patients and take more images.
  • Digital imaging is particularly useful in musculoskeletal cases and beyond.

Selection and results

Dr. Linson had previously had problems with retakes and poor processing quality on another brand's digital system. The CR 10-X was affordable and solved these problems. Her other concern was supporting the clinic's growth: after the move, the clinic's business grew 38% in the same year, and the CR 10-X has supported this growth by increasing patient capacity.
