Cimek Ambulatory Medical Center, Chile, enters the digital mammography world with Agfa’s DR detector.

Recently, Cimek Ambulatory Medical Center, located in Rancagua, Chile acquired Agfa’s DR 24M digital mammography detector. With this new solution, the hospital moves to intelligent and efficient Digital Radiography Mammography and will be able to improve the image quality of their mammography images while reducing the dose to their patients.

By increasing the flow of 200 exams/month by 40 to 50% , the center can improve its service capacity.

The sale of this mammo detector was the result of a live demonstration during a visit to the medical center, proving once again that a hands-on experience with the solution in real time improves the perception of the technology and drives sales.

El pasado 13 de Diciembre el Centro Médico Ambulatorio Cimek ubicado en Rancagua, Chile, con 34 años de experiencia, adquirió el detector digital DR24M de Agfa, tecnología que les permitirá mejorar la calidad de imagen y reducir la dosis a sus pacientes.

Así mismo, el centro mejoró su capacidad de atención, incrementando su flujo de 200 exámenes mensuales en aproximadamente un 40% a 50% adicional.

Resaltando además que el acuerdo comercial se dio como resultado de una demo que se presentó durante la visita al centro médico, comprobando una vez más que la experiencia de hands-on con los equipos y en tiempo real es determinante en el entendimiento y percepción de la tecnología, así como en la toma de decisión.
