Rush University System for Health Selects AGFA HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging Cloud
Leading academic health system will unify enterprise imaging across radiology and cardiology on a single cloud platform.

Leading academic health system will unify enterprise imaging across radiology, cardiology, and other clinical specialties on a single cloud platform.
AGFA HealthCare today announced that Rush University System for Health has selected AGFA HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging Cloud to advance its enterprise imaging strategy across its multi-hospital health system.
This partnership supports Rush’s strategy to unify enterprise imaging across radiology, cardiology and additional clinical specialties. By bringing imaging data, workflows and image access together on a single enterprise platform, Rush aims to expand access to imaging information, strengthen collaboration across specialties and establish a flexible foundation for continued growth and innovation.
“Enterprise imaging has evolved from a radiology strategy to an enterprise-wide imperative,” said Omar Sunna, Head of North America, AGFA HealthCare. “Health systems are looking to connect imaging across departments and sites, simplify operations and provide clinicians with a fast, reliable, and consistent experience regardless of where care is delivered. We’re pleased to support Rush as they advance this vision with our unified Enterprise Imaging platform.”
AGFA HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging Cloud will provide Rush with a unified platform for image management, enterprise viewing, and workflow orchestration. The deployment will establish a single enterprise imaging environment spanning radiology, cardiology, and other clinical specialties, giving clinicians secure access to imaging information wherever care is delivered.
“As we began looking for a platform that could support clinicians across the organization, we also knew we needed flexibility to evolve,” said Dr. Dino Rumoro, Chief Administrative Officer, Rush University Medical Center and Rush Oak Park Hospital. “We believe AGFA HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging Cloud will help us create a unified imaging environment that strengthens collaboration across specialties, expands access to imaging information across our health system and makes imaging available seamlessly across the system; benefitting the patient experience – albeit behind the scenes.”
The new Enterprise Imaging environment will help eliminate departmental imaging silos and strengthen collaboration across clinical specialties. It also provides Rush with a scalable cloud platform that can evolve with the organization as clinical imaging continues to expand beyond traditional radiology.
