A-1630 Microfilm Process Control Sheet
Standard A-1630 form for daily logging of control strip densities, temperature, speed and chemical specific gravity in a microfilm processor.
The Conventional Process Control Sheet (A-1630) is a standard log sheet for daily monitoring of microfilm processor performance. With this form the operator records control strip density readings and machine operating conditions for each run and can quickly spot any deviation from the allowed range.
Highlights
- Records three density values: High Density (HD), Reference Density (RD) and Low Density / D-min (LD)
- The allowed range for the Aim Density is ±.12, and the chart is graduated to ±.20 for each value
- Room for three entries per day (a.m. / p.m.) for each date
- Columns for developer and water temperature, time, processor speed (Proc Speed) and Specific Gravity
- Records mix ratio and replenishment rate for developer and fixer in mL/ft or mL/min
- Records Dwell Time, processor number, Control Step and Emulsion Batch
Instructions for use
Dwell Time is determined by timing the film as it travels through the developer tank (or a tank of the same size), from the top roller of the rack to the next roller, while the processor is running. Specific gravity is measured with a hydrometer with a range of 1.0 to 1.22 while the recirculation pumps are turned off.
