Agfa Digital Radiography Solutions for Small Animals

Agfa offers a range of CR and DR solutions for small animal practices, from an affordable entry into digital imaging to high-volume systems. All of them work with MUSICA image processing, which automatically optimizes the parameters for every raw image.

The MUSICA workstation has the same interface for CR and DR, and all systems support veterinary DICOM features, DICOM archiving and PACS connectivity.

DR Retrofit

• Upgrade an existing film or CR system to DR with a low investment
• Wireless or wired cassette-sized detectors: 14 x 17", 10 x 12" and 17 x 17"
• Choice of Cesium Iodide (CsI) detector with dose reduction potential or Gadolinium Oxysulphide (GOS)
• Automatic Exposure Detection (AED) with no electrical connection to the X-ray unit required

CR 10-X and CR 12-X

• Affordable entry into digital imaging
• Compact single-slot digitizer with fast and simple maintenance
• CR 12-X: default speed and resolution can be set per exam

CR 15-X

• High-throughput tabletop digitizer for high-volume practices
• Supports multiple cassette sizes
• Optional needle-based (NIP) plates for better quality at lower dose
• Can be used with a smaller generator for mobile use

CR 30-Xm

• All the capabilities of the CR 15-X
• Reads plates at 20 pixels/mm (50 µm pixel pitch)
• Suited to showing very fine detail in exotic animals such as reptiles, birds and ornamental fish

Veterinary dental cassettes

• Intra-oral plates in sizes suitable for patients from rabbits to large dogs
• Several dental images can be captured and processed at once with one cassette
• Helps with early detection of periodontal disease
