Hologic Horizon DXA Series

The Hologic Horizon DXA system is a multi-purpose system for assessing bone health, body composition and cardiovascular risk. It uses a high resolution digital ceramic detector and a high frequency X-ray generator, and with OnePass true fan-beam technology it performs dual-energy bone density measurement in a single pass, eliminating beam overlap error and image distortion. The Dynamic Calibration system provides pixel-by-pixel calibration for long-term precision. The adjustable aperture is lead-free and the detectors are cadmium-free. The Horizon series is available in five models: Ci, Wi, C, W and A.
